Hi everyone. So a couple of days ago I had to take my dog into the vet, when someone came in with a wild duckling that had been separated from it's mother. I have indian runner ducks at home and have raised 6 ducks from hatching so I have experience raising ducks but, this duckling is so frightened and I'm not sure it's eating or drinking but I have her in a box with woodchips and a heat plate plus gamebird meat crumble and water. I'm not even sure what type of duck she is? Any ideas on how I can get her to calm down a bit?

Keep her in the dark for a while. Put a blanket over the brooder and wait. She'll make a move in time.
