I have ducks and geese. Runners, Muskogee, Pekings and Geese.

We try to have a fishing experience for the family. I buy little perch and sun fish , catfish and bass finger lings. Also minnows . Am I going to have a feeding frenzy on the new crop that I may be putting in? And is that possibly were all the others may of went? They all used to reproduce. This year we did have that very bad drought, and I am trying to get my ponds back to order so the kids can catch and release, fish.

One of my runners ate a 5-6" koi a couple of weeks ago. I thought the koi were big enough for the ducks to leave alone. It took him a few gulps with me chasing him through the yard, but he got it down!

It is my understanding that domestic geese are primarily vegetarians, and not interested in fish. Ducks are omnivores, and will eat whatever they can catch.
