Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

You mean near La Crosse? I was referring to near Neillsville (sp?)
wildcat mtn state park, various flooding situations from Vernon County western Wi all the way thru Eastern WI. I think I 90 south had more rain as the storms traveled east towards Milwaukee and that area.

Hi I paid for Silkie eggs which cost $170 and she is up north in Merril and she sent the eggs yesterday. The temperature is 30* . Will they be frozen? Or maybe not? I'm a bit upset.

I am not in the specialty chicken business but holy $170 for eggs!! How many is that?

Were they wrapped up in paper towel? Or bubble wrap? They would be fine if they were insulated I would think.

Does she have any sort of guarantee if they aren't fertilized?

They are good quality and I just wanted nice silkies. I have one hen about 1 year old and I want to get her buddies. ~~~~~She sent me an email that the shipment was sent through the mail the day before yesterday. I mean it is very cold I just wonder why she would send eggs below 30 degrees. She did say that she was not guarantee if something happens to the eggs. If they are frozen, I may try to contact her if they are frozen because logically, a person should not ship below 30 degrees? Thank You Kristin PS I do not have the shipment yet.
