Wobbly Chick - what to do??

Sorry to hear she's not improved a lot.

You can continue with the vitamins for a while longer to see if they help.

Sounds like you are on the right track that she may be suffering from something neurologic hard to know what's causing it.

If possible, collect a sample of her poop and have your vet do a fecal float to rule out parasites, just in case they are contributing to her condition.
Could have sworn I replied, but I guess not!

Weirdly enough, she seems to be getting a little better. She's still wobbly, but slightly less. She seems to be able to hold her head up without shaking now, and she walks/stands better. Her right side is still weak, but she's much better than she was. I'm still treating her with a 1/4 of a pill of B-100 complex per day. Figured it can't hurt!

A few of my birds are dealing with a minor respiratory issue (I assume Coryza), so I'm wondering if whatever she has is the same thing, just affecting her ears... No way to know I guess.

It's good you are now seeing a little improvement.

Infectious Coryza usually presents with a very bad odor along with other symptoms like facial swelling, pus in the eyes, mucous, sneezing, wheezing and coughing.

Seeing a minor respiratory issue - what are the symptoms? Have you had respiratory illness within your flock(s) in the past?

You should be able to tell if there's infection in the ears. Look inside the ear for any pus, sometimes there's swelling of the ear canal and lobe too.

I guess not Coryza then! No odor and no swelling.

The symptoms are sneezing a bit and wheezing. In my affected rooster he gets a little hoarse. I saw the same issue (sneezing and wheezing) in the same flock before. It affects the Seramas, not the big birds. The wheezing is what concerns me with them.

I treat them with UVL Biotec, recommended from a serama breeder. It’s a combo antibiotic and expectorant.

I’ll take a look at their ears and see!

Quick update: somehow little Marigold (the wobbly chick) got over whatever her issue was, and is now almost completely normal. She still gets a little unbalanced when I lift her up, but overall it's night and day from what she was.

I stopped giving her Vitamin E, but I still give her a 1/4 of a B-100 complex tablet each day. Still have no idea what the issue was, and if the vitamins were the solution, but I figured it can't hurt to continue with the B (since vitamin E is fat-soluble, I worry about overdosing her - B is water soluble so there's not nearly as big of a risk).

Not sure what the issue was, but I'm glad to report happy news!
