"WORM-GLO" Green Nightcrawlers Bait Safe to feed Chickens??

I grabed some live worms at gas station as treat for chickadees. When I got home I realized they are "WORM-GLO" Green Nightcrawlers...kinda a nuclear green! I don't know what they do to make these worms "glow"...but I'm guessing it's not good/safe for chickens? Should I just :/throw worms out?

It is apparently a dye they put in the worm food that turns the worms green http://www.landbigfish.com/showcase.cfm?PID=3670 exact ingredients seem to be a trade secret. Don't know that it would be harmful, people handle the worms/ bedding and they are to catch fish that people eat.

I have no scientific data to support this, just paranoia: We barely have sufficient regulations to protect our own food supply. I'd have to guess that the standards for what is fed to or injected into fishing bait are simply non-existent. I would not use fishing bait to feed my chickens.
