Are the hens for eggs or are you planning on showing? You don't need a cockerel unless you want to raise chicks from your hens and if your not planning on showing those chicks then you can use any cockerel to get the fertilized eggs. Hope that helps.

What is your goal? Do you want more chickens with the gold laced coloring? If you want to produce more wyandottes, you will have to get a wyandotte rooster.
