A small update on Raven sitting on Coppers eggs. Last check 7 out of her 8 eggs are now fluffy butts and cheeping...
No pics but if you scroll up, they look just like them. Penguins !!!

When winter starts, I predict a bad case of chick withdrawl. So you can just stop all at once. You must taper off gradually.

No, with my BCMs, I do single matings for my own breeding. As in I collect what hens eggs I want to hatch, and either separate by hen into hatching bags if I'm incubating or place one set of a certain hens eggs under a broody. I can then leg band all chicks hatched color coded to their Dam. Everyone is Sired by Kong until I find his replacement.
