No, with my BCMs, I do single matings for my own breeding. As in I collect what hens eggs I want to hatch, and either separate by hen into hatching bags if I'm incubating or place one set of a certain hens eggs under a broody. I can then leg band all chicks hatched color coded to their Dam. Everyone is Sired by Kong until I find his replacement.

I gotcha. That seems way easier than having 3 separate pens for the different clans.

If I get a couple decent cockerels from these hatches I can use, I'll need breeder pens set up.
