Yellow spot on comb

Does anyone know what this yellow spot is on my Buff Orpington’s comb. Not sure if it was a peck and just serosanguineous fluid or an actual disease such as fowl pox. None of my other girls are showing signs. I have noticed more mosquitos in and around their coop so headed to get something to deal with that issue in cause they are the transmitters. TIA.

Sorry i am in no way an expert. It looks to me to be boil like? Or somthing caused by an injury or irritant in the skin or pores? Hope I'm correct and someone smarter than me can help. G'luck chuck

Dry fowl pox? Best to isolate the hen just to make sure.

Update: Nothing ever came of the spot and it disappeared without incident. None of my other ladies were ever effected.
