Picked up 30 BB Red Old English Bantams for myself. The first 30 minutes of ride back was enjoyable. New life, cheeps & peeps. Then then rest of way was ready to get them delivered to new home.
Drive down was beautiful and peaceful. Included a 3 block drive through downtown, town square and courthouse. Going to come back in a month for another batch. Drive will be even prettier with spring in bloom.
Transport box. Was so anxious to get them to their new home, I forgot to take Pic with em still in box. Advise given at pick up office, if you are comfortable in car on way back, chicks are comfortable....

Walls in office loaded with local awards and support for schools/education.
Small office is the only access. Approx 10x10. Not more than 8-10 people could fit inside office. Help at both Windows. I was 4th in line. Took less than 5 minutes to pick up box of chicks. No hassle.
Went to Ideal Poultry in Cameron Tx. All chicks picked up were fluffy, clean, healthy and happy.
