The coop/run I am building is similar to the ones in these photos. Iām trying to keep it as simple as possible with the least amount of parts and labor.
Let me ask this questionā¦ why is there a floor on the coop part of these tractors and most coops I see online? I would prefer to not have a floor and just have the roosts and nest boxes inside the covered coop/sleeping area. That way the chickens can just poop on the ground/leaves/bedding. Are the floors to keep in warmth? Here in Texas I donāt know if thatās needed.
