This thread is for chicken names. We post names of our chickens, and names we like for chickens. That way, people can get a giant list of all different styles of names.

Rules: all names must be appropriate and family friendly. If the name is in a different language, please say what it means. Also please make one category per post (ex. Nature names: flora, fauna, maple. ) so as to make it easter for people who want specific kinds of names.

Just a couple of mine are from left to right, the rooster is on the left. He's Piper. The hens are Mocha and Shaker. I call that one Shaker as for her five months of life, has never stopped shaking her head.

Mine are named Vanilla, Dandelion, Shadow, Rhoda, Buffy, Pineapple, Cosmo, Cluckzilla, Lavender, Nutmeg, and Sussy (yes, I'm aware some of their names are questionable)

My girls names are Bella (Buff Orpie aka the Diva), Bossy, Freckles (aka the two terrorists - Red Comets), Willow ( Speckled Sussex), Ruby and Luna (Sapphire Gems). Gonna be adding 6 more girls in a couple of weeks so gotta come up with 6 more names. Planned additions are 2 each Speckled Sussex, Buff Orpingtons, Silver Laced Wyandottes.
