Well, it wouldn't be easy, especially on the run side, but I'd bet it could be done.I looked into that, but I don't think it would be possible with this building
Yeah, I was wondering if the wall vents could sort of act like soffit vents, since the air would still leave through the roof vents.Well, it wouldn't be easy, especially on the run side, but I'd bet it could be done.
Putting the long vents in the wall on the run side would suffice.
Soffit vents are the best for cold climate ventilation.
Air would come in the soffit vents and escape out those roof vents.
I started using the horse pellets last year and can attest to its effectiveness! I just removed my last years bedding and put another 200 lbs of fresh horse pellets for this yearGood to know, thanks! I'll consider getting something to measure humidity, and I'll soon be using nipples rather than the open waterer. And I haven't heard of using horse bedding pellets, so maybe I'll look into that as well
200 lbs? How many chickens do you have, and how big is the coop?I started using the horse pellets last year and can attest to its effectiveness! I just removed my last years bedding and put another 200 lbs of fresh horse pellets for this year
