I was just walking around the yard to look at all the trees. The fog has made some amazing hoarfrost.
And driving down the road... everything is so pretty!

Yup, two days in a rew. looked like a scene from the movie Dr Dzvalgo ..
Tonight we bot a few sprinkles of snow to top it off..

got my tractor back from the fixit shop. didn't put the bucket back on yet. just parked him in the garage.
have to order a tachometer dial.
working on fixing the door handle on the wood burner out in the shop.
slow news day here..

it is a quiet start to the new year so far.
I might go work in the un heated shop for a while today. I am trying to fix the latch on the wood stove door, so no fire in the stove..
the tractor is in the garage. No hurry to put the bucket back on. No snow is forecasted for here..

yup, on the 14th. I just got a call from the insurance company this morning. Just letting me know that I will be covered. Monday I get a covid test. I hate them.

I've had 2 brain scraping, I mean covid tests. They aren't the most pleasant things.

Not much news here today.
I made a babbit out of JB Weld. Won't know if it works until it cures about noon tomorrow.
Last night we had crappies for supper. I prefer blue gills and perch, but crappies are OK, too..
I tell my friends that I will accept fish. They don't even have to clean them.. I prefer to clean all of my own fish and game.

The babbit bearing I made worked great. I have the handle back onto the door..
now I have to scrape off the old glue and install a new door rope gasket.

I will admit I have never heard of a babbit bearing and I needed to look it up.
