You're right, I was already contemplating getting a set of hatching eggs from a non related flock, tbf I'm quite happy if they all turn out to be hens. Every hatches dream, isn't it Then just to hope I'll have one cockerel in the next batch

Yes, you are lucky to have females. Pretty rare in here even when the birds are sold as sexed females. Best of luck with your flock.

Hey guys

Another week or so passed and this one seems to have bigger tail feathers than the rest. Still no wattles on any of them, no crowing, 10 weeks and 4 days after hatching, but is this tail not too big for a hen?

Tail size shouldn't matter it's probably a pullet
