Hello there! I keep cochin bantams and breed for fun! I just made an order for some golden laced, black and white mottled, self blue and birchen. I’ve never raised these before and would love to see them at any age. Any info on particular colors or advice would be accepted with JOY! Thank y’all. Also I’m brand new here so if you have any advice on that haha

Hello! I currently have a beautiful trio of cochin bantams, my rooster and one hen are black, my second hen is birchen. My birchen went broody recently and hatched out 6 eggs that I had given her, she has accepted more chicks and is now up to 14 lol I have roughly about 15ish cochin bantam chicks that I have bred and hatched, all are from my black pair, I've yet to have eggs set and hatch from my birchen. I have gotten a pair of white cochin bantams, some white with dusty colored leakage, and black chicks. I have also hatched 3 "odd" colored chicks... I really don't know what to call them. All three hatched out white, but feathered out starting with black. My oldest chick, I'm hoping it's a pullet, is gorgeous with browns and black on her. I'll post better pictures tomorrow of everyone. I absolutely love the breed overall, very curious and friendly, and excellent broody mama hens. There's two others starting to look like her.
