Such a sad day!!!!

I just found out that a man who's been in my life every since I was little just passed away this morning in his sleep after a long and tiring battle with a monster disease-COPD.
Plus over the weekend the lady I call Grandma sister passed away.

Here's another sad day- saw my Dad's obituary yesterday for the first time. Wasn't included in it. Reason why- didn't help with Dad's care.
I know that's not a good reason but it is for my sister's and mother. It's not even going to be amended either.
I also thought I was making progress with repairing my relationship with my Mother last night but I thought wrong- my sister who is just about 2 years younger than I stepped in and interfered do I told her she could take our mother and put her someplace where the light from the sun can't reach her.

Sorry for you losses.

You sound like you have a similar problem as my Dad. He hasn't spoken to his sister and mother for 7 years now. Which in turn i haven't either. Life is short to put up with some people i'm afraid.
