When can I start baby chicks and poults on sprouted grains?

Hi all! I have 11 buff orpington chicks, 25 cornish x's, and 15 black spanish turkey poults on their way. (We had a flock of orpingtons in Alabama, but when we moved to Virginia we gave them to friends. Now, we're starting over with a lot of lessons learned, and there are a few things I definitely want to do differently.) I'm determined to supplement my flock's feed with sprouted grains of about 7 days, as per MichiganSnowPony's low tech fodder system video recently posted on YouTube (youtube.com/watch?v=bXMAolO6r3Q). The benefits are better feed efficiency, savings in cost of feed, and better health of the flock. However, I'm wondering WHEN I can introduce these sprouts to my flock and if I need to introduce sprouts of less duration (maybe 3-4 days instead of 7?), and if so, at what age can I begin offering sprouts at maximum nutrient levels (@ 7 days, for what I'm planning to offer). I would really appreciate the advice of anyone who has done this before. TIA!
