My son got this chick as an extra with his 4H chicks. When we got it we were hoping for an Easter egger but we just aren't sure what type/gender it is. Any help idnetufying would be greatly appreciated! Sorry it's not a great pic. She was standing on my husbands head checking out the new perches

How old? She's a pullet. Not really sure on breed right now, a better picture would be good.

Looks like you've got a stunning Black Breasted Red Phoenix pullet! I got two straight run bantams in that breed, both turned out to be cockerels, and they're gorgeous.

Agree she's a Phoenix pullet. You son could easily enter her in his show also, she's a pretty bird.
