I made lemon merengue and butterscotch pie today and neither of my merengues turned out decent. I blame it on my new hand mixer. I might have to buy something different. It tastes fine but no height.

They look really good! Even though the meringue is flat. Do you have a recipe for the butterscotch?

I usually use whipped cream.
