Any Home Bakers Here?

Had never heard of satsumas till you mentioned them. Look pretty!

Satsumas are raised in Florida.

scald the milk, add the butter and let it melt. scramble the eggs in a small bowl. When the butter is meted and the mixture is about 110, add the eggs and then the bloomed yeast.

Bloom the yeast in water at 110f for about 5 minutes-- while the butter and milk are cooling.

I used instant yeast so do not need to proof the yeast.

Thank you for your response

Good morning and happy Thanksgiving all. No photos of my pecan pie I made ahead of time a few days ago. Cheese ball made yesterday evening is ready to go and hopefully looks enough like a little turkey! Green bean casserole to go soon. Then everyone combines their dishes and we have a nice big lunch!

Good morning everyone! Happy Thanksgiving!

I’m grateful for all the great friends I have here, as well as on other forums. I’m grateful for all the baking tips and advice you guys have given me over the years.

I’m also grateful for my family, my dog, or rabbit, the list goes on.

I will post a picture of Thanksgiving dinner later.
