Breeding a White Leghorn rooster with..?

Any breed that you cross with that White Leghorn will end up being white and be a prolific egg layer.

I must say that you are very lucky as I am in need of a White Leghorn rooster to pair it with a few Isa White/Hyline w-36 egg layers I have.

White leghorn bred with other colours will NOT give you pure whites. See attached photo of offspring from White exhibition quality cock bred to exhibition black hen both leghorns.note the white pullets have a few black flecks.

Only if the white leghorn was heterozygous for the dominant white mutation(I/i+)

Tplausible explanation is that the dominant white mutation was in heterozygous form(I/i+) no way around that
