Chicks on their own

Hi, i ordered some chicks ad they are supposed to be here tomarrow (monday) or tuesday, but im going out of town next weekend and i dont really know what i should do.

I was hoping someone could tell me what i should do for them before i leave... If i leave extra food for them, will they eat it all at once? Or will they eat what they want and wait till their hungry again?

Probably best to get someone to check on them a few times or take them to someone to watch.

Yep, chicks can easily run out of food or water, or tip over either or their containers. The first week is really critical in terms of always having food/water/heat available. Best to get someone to check on them at least once a day while you're gone.

thnk youu...i think i have someone who can watch them for me
