Distinguishing bronze and Narragansett poults at 3 weeks

There have been several posts about mixing up bronze and Narragansett poults. Here are some pictures of 23 day old poults that show some differences between the two.

The bronzes are dark plumaged. Note especially the wing feathers.

Narragansetts begin to look frosted after about 3 weeks. Note the light gray highlights on the wing feathers. The highlighting will become more and more noticeable over time.
