lawn chemicals

We have 6 hens for the last year.
We used to get the lawn treated with scotts fertilizer 4x per season.
We used lime, pre-emergent and different fertilizers with the scotts 4 step program.
Can any grass treatments be done in the back yard where the chickens are?
Any advice is appreciated.

I would not use any grass treatments on any area where the chickens are or will be. They will eat the grass, and therefore ingest the chemicals.
