Nest box

Just wandering I looked through some of the threads but didn't see any do hens lay better in a enclosed nest box I guess I should say with a top on it or is a open top OK just wandering what some opinions are.thanks

Mine will lay in an open nest box if they have to, but definitely like an enclosed space much better than one that is open, everything else being equal, when given the choice.
