Northern Bobwhites and Mexican Speckles

Some one who breed Mexican Speckles said you can put a regular Bobwhite White Male(northen) in with Mexican Speckle Females and you will get the same result for the mexican speckle. he had done this for years.. I am assuming its true since he has done it..

Does anyone else know????????
