quail cage ???

how many quail can my cage hold any ideas???
i want to now befor i buy eggs. to make sure i have room.
the cage is about 3 foot off the ground it is wire with woooden frame and metal roof. its 4.5 x 3.5 and 2 foot tall

By the numbers 16 but I try not to crowd my birds I would try starting with 6-7 hens and 2 males keep an eye on the hens heads/necks and maybe get another hen or 2 I only have 1 colony cage I am running 1 male and 5 hens he used to have too much time on his hands he is a busy fellow these days rather fertile eggs though.

What quail are you planning to house?

not sure yet i was thinkin either button or qourtinix or how ever you spell it
which do u think is better

If you are planning to house them together, I recommend Coturnix. Button quail thrive best in pairs as they are monogamous birds (one male, one female).
