Sexing Salmon Faverolles at approx 3-4 weeks

Hi All,

We have been stalking the page since we got our peeps a few weeks ago. I registered today because you all seem so helpful! We are starting with 4 for an urban coop since we have 1/3 of an acre in a small community.

Can you confirm if these are all pullets or if we have a cockerel? The one looks at the camera is our questionable chicken.

We were sooo hoping it’s just a dark pullet we cant keep a roo.

Sorry! I feel you, getting cockerels is kind of a bummer.

A bit tough to tell on a 2nd look. Cockerels tend to get darker feathers, happened to me when I bought a "pullet" but started growing the really dark feathers on the chest.

They are all without a doubt pullets. They aren't even close to the darkest ones I've seen from some of the hatcheries.
