I have no idea what breed they are, Turkeys aren't really popular as pets here in Australia, so I'm just happy to have a Turkey! Any color!

The breed is Turkey. The variety is probably Bronze.

The first guy who got eggs off me. Had strangely 7 hatch on Day 15, and now has had a total of 16 hatch on day 16. with 8 more eggs rocking. he was running his incubator at 37.8 and high humidity. He sent me this photo of his birds they are a variety of colors. Good to see all my birds are doing their jobs.

Aweee! Isn't that a great feeling seeing your little babies hatching somewhere else.

I candled my eggs, I'm on around day 7-8ish, removed 20 clears. I left in 2 that looked like they were iffy/early quitters, and there were 32 with good veins. I think they are due on Christmas or the day after.

Still not much happening here.. 4 are still alive in there, 1 has left the building and the 7 duds.

Fingers crossed these 4 hatch
I can live with 4 out 12.. but zero from 12

I actually think I might be on day 10...I need to double check the date I actually started, thank goodness I have been writing things down and writing down each time I turn the eggs.
