āž” Quail Hatch AlongšŸ„š

from my basic understanding of the genetics is that the colors have varying percentages of hatching true. so hidden color genes can show up in a certain percentage.
**now my own personal theory for possibility is that the large number of eggs being shipped and all eggs looking basically alike increases the risk of something getting mixed up.

Iā€™m not overly experienced with any particular color as variety has been the main focus in my hatches. And itā€™s been over 20 years since my education included ornithology and genetics coursework! but the other terminology for tibetan is ā€œdark rangeā€ accounting for the significant variation. they are also one of the most popular for breeding tuxedo which could account for the ā€œyellerā€ gene expression.
