That looks like a girl to me
Cucamelons are the craziest little things. A friend grew 2 vines last year and they were still going in January. They make jelly beans-slightly biggerish like cucumbers that are sweet but citrusy? Super weird and super prolific. I'm also going to do grazing boxes I think with triticale, clover, maybe some other greens, and strawberries. With the leftovers from building the aviary....ugh so many plans!I'm growing zucchini for mine. They like cucumbers too.
I guess female.
Not at all! Some of my pearls are tiny and some seem normal size. I’m trying to get them all drinking from a nipple bucket and I’m not convuthe tiny ones have enough weight to activate the nipple!Good idea but I'm done with these quail.
I'm moving on to jumbos next and I'll try things out with the Jumbo's and pearls.
I'm just hatching one last batch of my own to butcher. I don't really care if they are mini ones or not.
Just doing this one for fun.
Does this sound nutty?

I did not take photos. Stumpy passed away overnight and I disposed already. I was trying not to bother him/her much because he/she was exhausted form hatching and was quite uncomfortable when being held. When I found Stumpy dies this morning I was actually upset and just quickly put the body in the garbage which is in the outdoor can now. I should have taken pics because people have asked, but it's too late now.@BReeder! Did you happen to get photos of Stumpy's feet?
I never hear of these. I have cups, but they need to peck. They do work great with my quail though. The link you posted was no longer available but I found some others on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PFKWJVP/?tag=backy-20You might try the cup drinkers—not the spring loaded ones, but the ones that operate via a float valve.
This is like the ones I got. I’m not done with my watering system so I haven’t tested them yet. They keep the little cup full but no more. The birdies don’t do anything besides drinking the water.
