Yeah, county; I'm in the same one. Up here every lot also has a maximum allowable build % and that includes anywhere tamped down for walking or driving. I think that's just a TRPA thing though so hopefully you've not got more than one set of hoops to jump through.

If they don't I may just get a permit for an even bigger aviary but only build the one I have planned then add on later
Luckily we don't have the Tahoe regs. Yours are crazy strict. Ours are just permits for anything structural and or concrete involved mostly.

Yep. The ironic thing is we're a very conservative county so the taxes are slim but everything else is expensive
