I know for sure this egg came from a certain bird.

I need it to hatch when I can see/take it/seperate it immediately.
Maybe I should seperate it now.

I often incubate eggs from known hens that I need to have separate from the rest. I leave all the eggs together during the incubation phase and separate them when I move them to the hatcher. There are many different methods to separate them. some aren't as covenient in a small incubator. If nothing else, you can form a partition using hardware cloth.

I have an external pip! Just a tiny tiny noticeable crack and some wobbling in the egg that’s right up front. Hoping to wake up to a chick or some significant zipping.

i’m trying to figure out my next hatch! i should be able to do one again as i don’t think DH has anymore impromptu trips planned and my brooders are all cleared out now except for the 4 buttons.

@Kiki Keep those hens that you gave me my first batch of pansy fee eggs from. I thought that I put 3 boys and 3 girls into my pansy fee breeder pen along with the 2 that I had from my own order, but today I got 6 eggs, so I went back and rechecked. They're all hens. I need to find 2 boys from the last batch I got from you now.
