Yes.
I'm guessing there is a blockage somewhere.

That looks identical to my feed when I fermented it. Was the bird fine all along, and this happened suddenly?

Was fine till last week then she started to act little funny thought it was from when I banded her and had damaged her some how. Where she would not move around much, favoring one leg she had also had a slight prolapse when she layed an egg. But after being inside in a dark place she started to act better so I put her back in with rest and prolapse had fixed itself. she was starting to move around and act normal this week. But one wing was drooped a little bit which is what I thought I might have damaged when banding her. Oh her feathers were also puffed up and a little messy looking like she was molting.

Did the crop smell bad when you opened it? With all the gas in it, making it look like a balloon, it really seems to me she had to have had some kind of overgrowth of yeast/bacteria in her intestinal system. The food in her crop doesn't look nasty, so maybe somewhere lower down... I am no expert though. I had a rooster (chicken) like that—with similar symptoms.

It wasn’t full of gas that was all food and sand and rocks. it did smell bad not super strong but did smell off. But since I have never butchered a bird was not sure how off it should be.
