last night I may have gotten a little impatient and popped the cap on my pheasant egg last night (it had been externally pipped for over 24 hours). Little dude was still breathing and it hatched overnight still nothing from the remaining pheasant egg nor the hg quail. so i’m going to get the 2 moved to the shed brooder this afternoon or tomorrow and then recandle remainder and lockdown next pheasant egg.

Still good. I sold 8 a couple of days ago and have someone else who wants some more soon. I didn't plan on doing buttons again, but they're just so darn cute when they hatch.

Did not realize those were buttons. Small eggs, yes. So that makes more sense.

I should candle the dozen I have in the bator. Not sure they are fertile. They are the last from the male I sold.

There are feathers everywhere, so I know they're moulting, but they don't look awful.

My geese are spreading feathers everywhere but the only thing that looks awful is the yard.

Hi quail experts!!! Can I NOT keep quail right here? This is a sectioned off area in my coop/run and shares a wall with the chickens.
