Just sold 3 hens. Got a surprise phone call (not sure where they got the # from) on Thursday. Interest is definitely growing again.

If you're putting this on the ground, cut hardware cloth to bury for keeping birds in, predators out, then ziptie the wire barrier to the bottom of the ground PVC. I love zipties!

They're going to be in my garden beds. The ones I'm not actively growing in. They're raised beds on a gravel pad.

ooooo that is smart! But unless your frame is attached to the garden bed edge with no gaps, something could climb into the bed and then dig under. Something to watch out for.

It is, but the garden beds are in a greenhouse. I've been watching and haven't seen any predators yet except for a hawk, and that can't get into the greenhouse.

The only predators I think could get in would be snakes or rats. I'm definitely watching for those. I've seen some mice in my shed, but no rats, and right now, at least, it's too cold for snakes

I haven't even set them yet and I'm already convinced none are even fertile!
