āž” Quail Hatch AlongšŸ„š

FWIW, I ordered a 3 pack of the 5100 that also came with a hub. Same day delivery from Amazon, so they're already in a zip lock bag with some saturated salt to see how they stack up. I also have several other already tested hygrometers in the bag so I can make sure this batch is at 75% for the test. I'll report back tomorrow on humidity accuracy for the new ones.
All three H5100 sensors read humidity low, but within 1.5 to 2.5 % of 75% using the salt test. Using their app, I was able to calibrate them to 75%. These are much better than the H5074 and H5075 that I have which were as much as 10% low.
I have a pair of Incutherm sensors, too, that read right at 75% with no adjustments to them. Unfortunately, they aren't bluetooth or wifi enabled, so I'd have to be next to the incubator to verify temp/humidity.

Well the first round of quail made it thru with 15 hatching out of 21! :) Mostly rosettas and tuxedos, but I got at least one silver and one Italian. The silver is my favorite, so snuggly!

Second round is already internally pipping, and yelling loud enough I was looking around for chicks I missed when moving to the brooder šŸ˜† SO cute!! šŸ˜
