Looks like I'm going to be doing another hatch this year. I just won some eggs from Thieving Otter Farm on Coturnix Corner's live tonight. I'm really hoping for a black one or two in there.

I'm looking forward to seeing what I get. It's only 20 eggs, but it's going to be an interesting selection, I think.

Oh OK, I guess the sun was having an effect on my screen, it looked like it was black & white!

It still doesn't look very blue, gray/lavender color, like Andalusian should be? ....just a dark gray!
When I think Andalusian, I think this color, although Andalusian is a region in Spain from which this color was bred/developed, so I guess the color could vary!

I think there may be such a thing a too calm a quail. They really don't have a lot of survival instinct, do they?
