Well Blondie was born early appril 2007. When I got her she was 1 month old. I previously had 2 chickens that ended up being roo's so when I took the roos to my Aunt in June she took Blondie as well as I had no other birds and didnt want Vlondie to be alone. To this day BLondie has never crowed or acted like she/he was trying to crow. My aunt has 2 orphaned pullets 2 months old that Blondie takes care of & protects as if she/he were a mother hen. There are 2 full grown roo's at my Aunts place and when Blondie goes to the door of the coop or in the run the 2 main roo's pay her no mind at all.
I think I am trying to convince myself that Blondie is a hen. She has the greatest personality and has been hand raised. She/he loves to be sang to as well as rocked at night. She/he likes to sit on your shoulder for hours on end.
