Actually, I'm out this year and likely for the next year or two. I'm not even sure I'm staying here (where I have 4 permanent chicken coops standing).
I've raised them for so long and the only thing I've missed is the freedom to go on a vacation. Other than a weekend trip when I could get a chicken sitter, I haven't been anywhere in way too long.

No, when these are gone I'm done with chickens. Don't get me wrong, I like having chickens but my assistant Chicken Tender is having a hard time getting around and without him taking care of the chickens we can't travel.

That is the down side to having any animials. Where we live now i at least have my sis in law, we do chores for each other occasionally. But we both have a busy life and sometimes things come up when she isn't available or vice versa.
