Onyx is a die hard broody, she still hasn't snapped outta it, smdh. I had to go out last night and pull her clucking self out of a nest box and put her on the roost If she doesn't snap out of it by Friday she's going in a crate.

Got a lot done yesterday! 2 of the isabels and the blue wheaten went to their new home. Selling the 3 of them paid for the hatching eggs. I also locked onyx in the grow out area, she is just being a nuisance. Cute pics too boot!

I named the 4 ameraucanas and the marans per our tradition of what we're watching...
Isabel cockerel- Ghost
Isabel pullet- Nymeria
Isabel pullet- Lady
Wheaten Ameraucana pullet- Sansa
Wheaten Marans- Cersei

Saw these and had to have them! They are from a breeder here in Texas, I'm so excited to add a couple of these to my flock!

Everyone is getting so big and beautiful I was doing waterers this morning and grabbed these pics.

Well, I am quite irritated to report that for whatever reason my eggs sat at the post office of origin all last week and didn't leave until Friday, they may get here today, smdh.

I'm not complaining at all, lol, I'm only keeping the cockerel, 2 Isabel pullets, 1 wheaten, and the wheaten Marans. So far this year I have had insanely good luck with my cockerel/pullet ratio, knock on wood, lol

I'm on the other side, I want boys
3 boys and 12 girls from my 2 roos and BCM hatches so far to date.
10 more chicks to confirm yet and 12 more eggs to hatch
