Duck pond water

This may be a silly question but here it goes

.. will my chickens drinking duck pond water make the eggs bad and will it make humans sick if they eat the eggs

? it is hot and my chicken are lazy they would rather go to the duck pond then go to fresh water.. a friend said thats not good?

I grow plants in duck water. My cats drink out of the pond. All of us are fine
