I love what you are doing for Friend (cute name BTW). Poor girl. I hope she recovers. Do you have any idea how she injured her leg? or did I miss that post?

I am almost certain her leg was shut in her outdoor enclosure's door by a kid. He didn't mean to though, he is very upset about it, I feel bad for him. She would love running to the door so when he was helping feed my quails she must have ran in the way ...

The swelling looks like it's going down. Green is the colour of quail bruises, so probably not a concern.
