I knew a couple where the husband had some health issues; he got a bad sore on his leg that got infected and wouldn't heal. The wife started packing it with activated charcoal and olive oil when the dr said the leg was going to have to come off, and she saved his leg.

Granny it would be worth a try if you can handle it.

I was reading up on it. Olive oil is the healer. charcoal seems to be like getting rid of the odor and less important things. It goes on to say lavender oil works better.
