Hello all you poultry lovers and eaters!

I'm new to this thing and wanted to join in.
Me and my family have raised layers for several years and sell our eggs to locals in our community.
Last summer we raised our first pastured meat birds. MMMM - they are delicious.
We want to expand our business this year, but want to try a different breed of meat birds. We raised two flocks of the typical Cornish X, but want to find a breed that consumes a little more grass and bugs. I've read that the Kosher King is a good breed, but I can not seem to find a hatchery or breeder.
Any suggestions??

Glad to have you here!

You might try posting your question about the Kosher King breed over in the "Meat Birds" section...I bet you'll get a good response there.

See you around the forum!
