Hi! My name is Morgana.
I grew up on a farm in Washington state, and have had 3 previous flocks in my life.
(A mixed flock of 12 made up of RIR, BO, and BR.)
Then 2 chicks that were BR and RR, (given away, and killed by dogs)
2 years ago I had 4 Buff hens who laid great for years before I had to rehome them due to a move.
So this will be my 4th time raising chickens!
Right now I have 6 buff Orpingtons chicks who will be 5 weeks old on Friday.
My favorite part about raising chickens is the pet factor, not to mention the eggs!!
Some of my other hobbies include gardening, canning, and bike riding.
I also have 1 dog, 1 cat, and 1 snake as well as 3 human babies
I've been reading back yard chicken forums for years, but just joined tonight so I could start posting here! I found this site by using the google search engine.
So excited to finally to be here and be able to participate in this community!
