Well....due to coloration, overall shape, and porous look I would say a pullet of the brown egg laying variety or even possibly a roo that sorry will not lay eggs for you, lol.

Dowse it!!! Take a pendulum, and wave it over, if it(the pendulum) rocks back and forth, roo, if in circles, a hen. It works all the time.
