Introduction

Hello! I am a new chicken mama. I have nine chickens right now in my backyard in southern california. I am a huge animal lover as I have 4 dogs, 2 cats, 2 parakeets and now 9 chickens. My chickens are about four weeks old. I have 3 easter eggers( Blanche, rose and dorothy), 2 leghorns ( Dottie and daisy), 2 Bard Rock (salt and Peppa) and 2 black astrolorp(Dolly Part-hen and Henrietta). I'm loving my ladies.

I do have a question about my black astrolorps I know that it's still too early to definitively say if I have hens or roos but What do you all think? I'm thinking one hen one roo I can't go off a temperament.Because the one that i'm thinking is a roo is one of my sweetest ones Honestly, my leg horns are my feistiest ones and particularly Dottie.
