Vent Prolapse (that corrects itself?) & Involuntary Diarrhea

One of my hens’ vent was prolapsed a little bit. I separated her from the flock, gave her an epsom salt bath, and manually put things back where they belong. I have been spraying Vetericyn on her vent daily. But when I pick her up, she strains, poops on herself, and her vent prolapses a little. It isn’t a massive amount of tissue coming out, but it can’t be healthy?? And if I lift her tail feathers, her vent will correct itself and go back.

Anyone else dealt with vent prolapse and hens pooping when picked up? Its pretty involuntary for her. She has been in quarantine with water and feed. She is still laying eggs every day. Acting normal other than having accidents when picked up.

Sounds like what you are seeing is an inversion when she poops.
Look at the other hens when they poop and see if they do the same thing.

Why is she quarantined?
I separated her from the flock so they wouldn’t peck at her vent. I don’t think it’s just inversion - there was bright pink flesh sticking out that i pushed back in. Any idea why she would have involuntary diarrhea when picked up?
